Life can be hard at times. It can be even harder to express why you feel in a certain way or, in fact how you feel. Things are beyond our control at times and we get thrown into situations, which can have a lasting impact on our wellbeing.
Our ability to function can be limited and we struggle to express who we truly are. Sometimes, we do not even know what is wrong but yet we feel a certain way. I understand how overwhelming this can be as I have been there myself.
I've had my share of lived experience, as many of us do. I tried my best to cope with the ever growing stress and anxiety within me. I also tried putting in place changes to my life style, which helped to a certain extent thought it was short lived.
Therapy gave me a private space to understand what I had experienced and make sense of how it affected me, before beginning to rebuild my confidence and sense of self.
Through therapy I also experienced the value and importance to having a safe space to speak openly without fear of being judged or needing to appear strong and resilient.

My name is Krishna Cherukuri and I am a qualified psychotherapist accredited with the BACP. I work with adults and young adults.
When you are facing a major life change, carrying the weight of trauma, or feeling a loss of control, taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting. Whether you are navigating workplace burnout, processing a profound loss, or struggling with anxiety and depression, please know that you do not have to carry it alone.
My approach to therapy is centred around you, your personal story, and your lived experiences. I provide a compassionate, structured space where you can safely explore what you are going through, understand yourself more deeply, and begin to consider what meaningful change looks like for you.
My role is to help you navigate the issues affecting you and to provide you the required support.

Starting therapy can feel like a significant step, particularly if you have not experienced it before.
Finding a therapist with whom you feel able to talk openly matters deeply. Because successful therapy relies on a professional relationship built on trust and mutual respect, it is essential that you feel comfortable with the person you choose.
To help you decide if I am the right therapist for you, I offer a complimentary 30-minute initial session. There is absolutely no obligation to continue if you feel we aren’t the right match.
During the complimentary session we will also discuss what brought you to therapy, what you are hoping for and any questions or concerns you may have.
If we decide to move forward, we can arrange sessions to accommodate your lifestyle and comfort level. I currently offer two flexible options:
I also offer sessions during evenings and weekends.
If you are considering therapy and would like to find out whether working together might be right for you, please get in touch to arrange an initial consultation free of charge.
